About the Role
Our San Diego medical practice is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our patients — in person and on the phone. This is a great opportunity to build a career in healthcare administration while learning directly from experienced professionals in the field. We're a small, close-knit team that works hard, supports each other, and takes real pride in how we treat our patients.
What You'll Do
- Greet patients and manage a busy multi-line phone system
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Complete administrative processing and maintain accurate patient records
- Make outbound calls (appointment reminders, follow-ups, recall lists)
- Answer patient questions and help resolve scheduling or account concerns
- Maintain working knowledge of our services so you can speak to patients accurately and confidently
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated excellent customer service experience (healthcare or medical office experience a plus, but not required)
- Comfort with both inbound and outbound calling
- Strong computer/typing skills and ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities, interruptions, and a fast pace while staying organized
- A warm, patient, and empathetic manner with a diverse patient population
- Reliable, positive, and coachable — willing to start with the fundamentals and grow from there
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
