A busy FamilyCare Medical office located in Camillus NY is looking for a full-time or part-time Respiratory Therapist or RPSGT.
Duties Include:
- Facilitating tests and collecting data
- Responsible for preparing equipment, recording activities and analyzing results
- Responsible for following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting airway pressure masks
- Analysis (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes and tabulation of final data to be submitted for further review
- Required compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control
- Analyze data from sleep studies and provide results
- Monitor patients during sleep studies
- Make suggestions for improvement of sleep study results
- Provide patient care before, during and after sleep studies
- Maintain patient records
- Other duties as needed
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
