Patriot EMS is a small, heavily experienced, and highly regarded private ambulance service. We are Professional, Fast-Paced and our goal is to Provide On-Time Responses with Quality medics in a small, well-defined response area. No Posting, No Dialysis, and heavily recruited from by the nation's leading 911 services.
- Full-Time position for an EMT
- 48hrs weekly (Monday through Thursday, 12p - 12a)
- New EMTs start at $43,200+, Military and Experienced Negotiable
Fixed Schedules: Our schedules DO NOT rotate. Our crew schedules are officially posted at least 1 month in advance. We recognize that contiguous days off are important to “rest and recharge” for everyone. You will either have either 3, 4 or 5 days off allowing you to rest, or work extra shifts for overtime or to trade around.
At Patriot EMS We DO NOT do scheduled Dialysis patients and we Do NOT POST our trucks. If you aren’t on a call you’re free to the station or anywhere central to our response area.
Patriot EMS DOES NOT "Down-man" and send you home because your truck broke, your partner's sick or it's a "Slow Day". Those are on us. You come to work on time, fully capable to do your job, and be a team member we'll guarantee your scheduled hours.
We focus our responses to the N.W. Harris County area. Patriot medics are not spending the entire shift driving 100s of miles chasing calls across 3 or 4 counties. We confine our responses to a specific small territory. Our growth is driven not by "Square Miles Covered" it is propelled by increased facility confidence in our abilities, professionalism, and "On-Time" call responses.
Patriot EMS is a well-established (20yrs) EMS Service that is known for having experienced Paramedics, smart EMTs, and being a small, tight-knit service that handles extremely complex dire patients into the Houston Medical Center and surrounding counties. Call Volume: At Patriot EMS we add more scheduled 12 & 24hr. crews to our fleet and promote from within because our primary consideration is patient care and crew wellbeing. Our philosophy is to bring more monthly scheduled crews on to keep the call volume down per truck so that our competency and professionalism are maintained.
Make no mistake, this is EMS, not a job at a big box store or factory. There is no guarantee that you’ll get off on time but, most days you will. You have chosen a career field not a job. You have chosen to serve the members of our community during the worst days of their lives, possibly in weather that is not fit for man nor beast. There will be days that you wonder “Am I really getting paid to watch TV and eat?” Or “Good grief! When is this going to end?”
Patriot EMS also responds to emergency response requests at select, upper-level assisted living facilities and Stand-Alone ERs in N.W. Harris County.
Patriot EMS handles Trauma and Medical Emergency transports utilizing Ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, IV pumps, and hospital-supplied Cardiac Balloon Pumps, ECMO, and other atypical equipment. As a Patriot Medic, you will be challenged.

Involved and Experienced Ownership & Management: Your Management Team consists of Paramedics with each one of them having at least 30+ years in the business, including the Owner! He rides the trucks whenever and wherever we need help or someone needs off. Tired of NEVER seeing the Owner(s) unless you are in trouble? We understand the dilemmas and Medic decision process that goes into each call and we understand what it is like being away from your family during local/regional emergencies. A combined 145 years of Paramedic field experience between the Station Supv. / FTO, Field Operations Manager, Dir. of Operations and Owner/Administrator allows us to understand our members' needs and their desires.
Holiday Pay: For select holidays.
Clean, Safe, and Comfortable Station: Separate bunk rooms, a Galley, Day Room (Crew Cave) with TV, Recliners, PCs, and crew Wi-Fi throughout the station. Common room for studying, gaming, or classes with a huge projection/sound system.
UV-C Decon / sterilization in ALL of our trucks and station HVAC systems
Electronic secured Cloud-based PCRs: We provide tablets for your PCRs to be used mobile or you can choose to use any smart-phone, tablet, laptop or any PC that has internet connections.
Cloud-based employee interactive Scheduling: We run our scheduling out by at least a month and our goal is to maintain 2 months posted. Don’t you hate not knowing when or where you’re working next week or who you’re working with? Tired of inconsistent schedules and supervisors that don’t care?
Fixed & Flexible Scheduling: We encourage and support our Basics and Paramedics to continue their advancement in EMS or nursing. You get out of our scheduling exactly what you put into it. Just want a schedule that remains the same from week to week? No problem, our schedules are fixed. If you're working Full-Time, what days you work this week you'll work next week, next month, and so on. Trading shifts is always available, one hand washes the other.
- Respected EMT training site: New EMTs and EMT Students don’t scare us. We love to train and have Student EMT Riders frequently.
