Flammability Certification Engineer / Certification Manager
Location: Fort Worth, TX (Relocation Assistance Available)
We are seeking an experienced aerospace certification professional to join a growing organization specializing in aircraft flammability certification and FAA compliance. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys technical work, customer interaction, and the opportunity to help build and lead a certification department.
This position may be ideal for an experienced Certification Engineer, FAA Designated Engineering Representative (DER), FAA Unit Member (UM), or someone with extensive aircraft flammability certification experience looking to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities
- Prepare FAA certification reports and engineering documentation
- Develop certification plans and test procedures
- Interpret and apply FAA regulations and guidance
- Work directly with customers throughout certification projects
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship
- Support the continued growth of the certification department
Qualifications
Candidates should meet one of the following:
- Current or previous FAA Designated Engineering Representative (DER) or FAA Unit Member (UM)
- OR
- Engineering degree with at least four (4) years of aircraft flammability certification experience
OR
- Six (6)+ years of aircraft flammability certification experiencePreferred Experience
- Aircraft interiors
- Aerospace certification
- FAA compliance
- Airworthiness certification
- Flammability testing
- FAA regulations
- Technical reports and certification documentation
