We are now seeking for a EXPERIENCED PURCHASING ASSISTANT to help process paperwork in our Purchasing Department.
SUMMARY:
A Full-Time office position to work on site. We will train the successful candidate in processing methods for the paperwork and the tasks involved. Purchasing and logistics experiences are helpful. The PURCHASING ASSISTANT position requires a dedicated individual with strong attention to details, flexible, critical thinking, excellent communication, and good working ethics.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School, but a bachelor’s degree in business-related majors is preferred.
- Language: English-fluent
- Work Experience: 1-year purchasing experience required, with logistics experience preferred
- Good mathematic skills and high level of Data Entry accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to multi-task and possess time management skills, ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Knowledge in inventory control and purchasing methods preferred
- Self-motivated to perform efficiently with little supervision. Reliable, responsible, team player.
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Purchasing
o The EXPERIENCED PURCHASING ASSISTANT is to review and monitor our stock level daily to plan for future stock level based on sales and market trends and place purchase orders with suppliers thus diligently maintain proper inventory levels.
o Track corresponding container lists from order placements through shipments and deliveries
o Collect and update supplier data into system
2. Logistic Coordination
o The EXPERIENCED PURCHASING ASSISTANT is to track and updateshipment status from origin to final delivery, including customs clearance and warehouse receipt.
o Review, organize and send customs documents to brokers for customs clearance
o Organize, create and print related bills
o Schedule shipment deliveries and update internal calendar
3. Claims Handling
o The EXPERIENCED PURCHASING ASSISTANT is to collect and organize photos for claims.
o Prepare claims and submit claims to suppliers in timely manner
o Track claim status
Job duties are not limited to the above and may change depending on workload or operation needs.
