An aerospace client is looking for a Field Technician who will get to support to provide technical assistance to the TAF RTBS at an unclassified level.
Location: Patuxent River, MD 20670 (Onsite)
Position: Field Technician
Pay Rate: $53.50/hr on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 12 months or longer
Schedule: 5x8 (M-F)
Responsibilities:
- Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.
- Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
- Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
- Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
- May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.
- Performs a variety of maintenance, modifications and technical support on E-2C Avionics and Electrical systems, equipment, integrated systems, and subsystems, at various customer and/or field locations.
- Supports testing, exercises, and operations at OCONUS location.
- Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of problems and issues.
- Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.
- Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.

Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizen required
- An associate’s degree in appropriate technical discipline and four (4) years of E2C specialized experience or High School diploma and six (6) years of E2C Avionics and Electrical Systems experience.
- Must be willing to travel OCONUS 100% of time
- A wide and comprehensive acquaintance with, and understanding of, both general and specific aspects of the job and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Work may be done without established procedures.
