APH Marine Construction is seeking a Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our dredge operations team. This is not just a driving position—you’ll be an integral part of the dredge crew. We’re looking for someone hands-on, reliable, and ready to work in a fast-paced marine construction environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate roll-off truck safely, ensuring proper maintenance and safe operating condition at all times.
- Work directly with the dredge operator and deckhand during dredge mobilization/demobilization, hose setup, and general operations.
- Climb and inspect dewatering containers, monitoring water levels and communicating conditions to the dredge crew.
- Transport wet sand/dewatering loads to disposal sites, handling heavy wet loads safely and effectively.
- Stage and manage stockpiles at the disposal site with awareness and precision.
- Utilize excavators, skid steers, or bobcats when needed to clear or reload material.
- Haul additional loads, including flatbed transports, construction debris, and concrete using the roll-off system.
- Safely navigate and dump at disposal sites, transfer stations, and waste facilities.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL license with safe driving record.
- Experience with roll-off trucks, heavy loads, and disposal site operations.
- Ability to perform physical work and keep pace with an active marine crew.
- Mechanical awareness and responsibility for truck care/maintenance.
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
- Heavy equipment operating experience (excavator, skid steer, bobcat) is a major plus.
