Hybrid Event Specialist (Operations & Sales Coordinator)

The Twin Cities premier party rental company is looking to hire an eager and enthusiastic Hybrid Event Specialist. This is a "Hybrid" position with a blend of both our Operations Team and Sales/Customer Service Team.
Responsibilities of this role include:
* Providing excellent customer service, whether over the phone, in person at our office, or at the customer's event site.
* Helping maintain products of all types in condition, cleanliness, and overall appearance.
* Assisting with the testing, staging/prepping, loading, and unloading of products and vehicles
* Completing paperwork thoroughly and accurately
Candidates must possess the following:
* Strong computer skills (Party & Event Management Software experience is a plus)
* Ability to communicate effectively (written, verbal, phone, and email)
* Available to work weekends and evenings when necessary.

Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Discussing event details and product options with customers
- Communicating with Event Venues
- Accurately inputting rental quotes, contracts and optimizing the use marketing materials
- Hands-on approach in working closely with the Sales Team in driving new business
- Checking availability of equipment & working with the Dispatch Team to coordinate deliveries & pickups
- Reaching out to previous customers regarding upcoming events
Requirements:
- 1+ years of sales experience (Party and/or Event Industry is preferred).
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to pass a background check, DOT pre-employment physical and a pre-employment drug test
- Must be able to provide, understand and complete instructions furnished in written, oral or scheduled form
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to problem solve
