We are seeking a Traffic Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support for our client in the logistics industry. The traffic coordinator will work alongside the traffic department, focusing on export documentation, shipment coordination, carrier bookings, and customer service. This position works closely with warehouse, operations, accounts receivable, carriers, and customers to ensure shipments are accurately documented, scheduled, and processed in compliance with applicable regulations.

- Schedule: 8AM - 4PM, Monday - Friday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Open shipment files, enter shipping information, and scan documents into the system.
- Prepare export documents, including AES filings, Airway Bills, Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Proof of Export.
- Schedule carrier pickups, arrange cargo releases and third-party pickups, and track shipments.
- Prepare pricing information, calculate insurance charges, and provide documents needed for billing.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, carriers, customers, and internal departments to keep shipments moving and meet deadlines.
- Follow U.S. Customs, export, bonded warehouse, TSA, and hazardous materials requirements.
- Assist the Operations Manager with daily logistics tasks, customer questions, complaints, and other projects.
Qualifications & Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, export, transportation, or a related field.
- Experience with shipping and export documentation, including AES and international shipments.
- Basic knowledge of U.S. Customs, export regulations, bonded warehouses, TSA, and hazardous materials.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and customer service skills, including the ability to handle customer issues professionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, data entry, and computer systems.
- Bilingual English/Spanish with the ability to communicate with warehouse staff, carriers, customers, and internal teams.
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
