Operations Team Lead
What You Will Work On
You will play a critical role in keeping store operations running smoothly by supporting checkout execution, inventory accuracy, and asset protection standards across the store. Each day, you will help coordinate operational priorities, ensure procedures are followed, and step in to solve challenges that impact the customer experience. Your attention to detail and ability to lead by example will directly influence efficiency, safety, and service quality.
You will actively support daily workflows such as cash handling, shipment processing, and operational task completion while reinforcing best practices with team members. By partnering closely with store leadership, you will help translate plans into action and ensure tasks are completed with accuracy and urgency. Your work helps create a well organized, customer-ready environment that supports strong store performance.
Who You Will Work With
You will work closely with cashiers, asset protection, custodial team members, and store leaders to ensure operational consistency and a positive customer experience. This role requires strong collaboration and communication as you support team members across multiple functions throughout the store.
You will also partner with field and store leadership during operational walks and reviews, sharing observations and helping reinforce standards. Together, you will focus on creating a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for both customers and teammates.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- At least two (2) years of retail or operations experience required
- Experience supporting teams and operational processes to achieve sales, service, and efficiency goals
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and resolve issues effectively
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and visual instructions related to policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Working knowledge of inventory systems, order processing tools, and Microsoft Office applications
- Comfort using digital tools, task management systems, and mobile retail technology
- Strong time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability to changing priorities, processes, and store needs
- A team-first attitude; while your core duties are your priority, you're happy to step in wherever you're needed
Work Style & Physical Requirements
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs
- Capability to remain on your feet and move throughout the store for extended periods during scheduled shifts
- Ability to perform physical job functions such as walking, bending, reaching, pulling, carrying, and lifting items up to 50 lbs
- Capacity to complete repetitive tasks, including scanning, stocking, and folding merchandise
- Comfort using ladders or step stools to access merchandise as needed
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment while adapting to shifting priorities
- Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
- Ability to adhere to company policies and professional standards
