Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise staff performance, provide training, and support team development to ensure excellent customer service
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to uphold quality standards
- Manage inventory control, including stock ordering, receiving deliveries, and minimizing waste
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales processing
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas
- Support shift management by coordinating schedules, overseeing staff coverage, and handling customer inquiries or complaints promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service or fast food restaurants
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Hands-on experience with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience in staff training, team management, and interviewing candidates
- Background in food service management, inventory control, budgeting, and hospitality operations
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and leadership presence
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of quality
