Associate Optometrist - Full Time
TSO Portland is seeking a full-time Associate Optometrist to join our growing practice in the coastal South Texas community of Portland, Texas. We are looking for a doctor who values excellent patient care, strong communication, efficiency, and long-term relationship building with patients and staff.
This is an excellent opportunity for an optometrist who wants to practice full-scope optometry in a well-established office with strong community presence, modern technology, and an experienced support team. The practice currently includes another practicing OD, creating a collaborative environment with shared clinical support and continuity of care for patients.
Schedule
● Full-time position
● 5 days per week
● Monday–Saturday schedule (one weekday off)

Responsibilities
● Perform comprehensive eye exams
● Diagnose and manage ocular disease
● Prescribe glasses and contact lenses
● Educate patients on eye health and treatment plans
● Maintain accurate patient records
● Collaborate with staff to provide an exceptional patient experience
Qualifications
● Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school of optometry
● Active Texas optometry license
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
● New graduates and experienced ODs encouraged to apply
