Duties
- Safely operate Dump Truck to deliver freight across multiple locations.
- Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of cargo. ( Dirt, Rock, Gravel ETC)
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes, monitor traffic conditions, and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to verify mechanical condition and safety compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and cargo manifests in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Ensure proper handling of material
- Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate freight pickups, route schedules, and delivery priorities for efficient operations.
Experience
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving.
- Knowledge of truck loading/unloading procedures and freight handling techniques.
- Experience adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA guidelines for safe trucking operations.
