Duties
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of sautéed dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards
- Communicate well with others and multi task.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including stoves, grills, braising pans, and food production machinery
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Execute food handling protocols accurately during meal preparation, serving, and storage to uphold quality standards
- Collaborate with the culinary team to support high-volume food production during busy service periods
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and ensure all kitchen tools are properly sanitized after use
Experience
- Proven experience in food industry settings such as restaurants, catering services, or fine dining establishments. Must have high volume experience!
- Must have open availability
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques including grilling, saute, boiling, and other culinary methods
- Demonstrated ability to handle food safely while maintaining hygiene standards in high-pressure environments
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
