Overview
Join our dedicated team as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Duties
- Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines, promoting independence
- Support clients in developing communication, social, and functional skills through engaging teaching strategies
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, behavior management logs, and client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency across therapy environments
- Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts to ensure ethical practice at all times
Requirements
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disabilities
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and behavior management techniques
- Ability to collect behavioral data systematically and accurately during sessions
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records, and documentation standards for behavioral health services
- Experience working in home-based settings or school environments is preferred
- Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and implement ABA therapy protocols consistently
