Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Conduct electrical work including wiring, circuit testing with ohmmeters, and electrical equipment repairs to uphold safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to execute repairs and installations.
- Maintain facilities equipment including elevators, lighting fixtures, HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and other building systems.
- Carry out maintenance painting and carpentry tasks to preserve the aesthetic appeal of interior spaces.
- Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major repairs or renovations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building operations within a hospitality or residential environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on expertise in plumbing system maintenance and repair.
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting electrical equipment using schematics and ohmmeters.
- Familiarity with HVAC system repair, building interior maintenance, and facilities equipment upkeep.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Knowledge of maintenance painting techniques and carpentry skills for interior projects.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with team members and vendors.
- Experience working with schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on safety standards and quality assurance.
