As a Barback, you'll support bartenders by maintaining a clean, organized bar area and ensuring smooth beverage service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help elevate the guest experience while keeping the restaurant running efficiently. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a fast-paced environment, with plenty of room for growth and learning.
To start, you will be primarily needed on Mondays, with weekend shifts opening up as football season starts.
Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies to ensure seamless service throughout the shift
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glassware, bar surfaces, sinks, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards
- Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes promptly to keep the restaurant tidy and inviting
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment safely and efficiently
- Food run and server assist when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred, especially in bar or sit down dining settings
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and serve guests professionally
- Knowledge of food handling, bar safety protocols, and beverage service standards is highly desirable
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling with safety awareness
- A positive attitude with a focus on customer service excellence in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
