Distribution Tech 1 Inspector Position
Rockledge, FL
- Performs all duties of Distribution Tech 1A/B position.
- Utilizes Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and other technologies to plan emergency repairs and basic maintenance activities of gas main and services.
- Leads, directs, and develops employees in below ground skills, and provides consistent and reliable feedback to supervision.
- Performs the basic level tapping and stopping of gas during pipeline maintenance and emergency work.
- Performs mechanical, electrofusion, and external heat applied plastic welding on plastic pipe up to 12 inches during repairs and maintenance.
- Provides information and data required for the Distribution Integrity Management Program (DIMP)
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Commercial drivers license
- FCG leadership training
- Proficiency with Excavation Equipment Certification
