For Kansas City, Missouri, St. Nicholas Children's Therapies LLC is dedicated to helping children thrive within a state of the art preschool setting serving ages 0-5. SNCT is seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and Occupational Therapists to join the SNCT team. The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, and works well with children, in a team environment.
The SNCT locations in Kansas City, Missouri need both OTRs and COTAs at reputable state of the art child development centers, serving ages 0-5 years. You will work with other OTR's and COTA's who love working at the child development centers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Treat patients with with neurodevelopmental disorders with the daily therapy interventions, which includes but is not limited to: teacher/patient/parent education/coaching, sensory, motor coordination, neurodevelopment, self-regulation, social skills, visual motor and visual perception, and healthy habits.
- Providing intervention and teacher/parent/patient education/coaching.
- Documenting treatment session notes in a timely manner.
- Communicating with patients and their family members regarding care plans, as well as any other needs or concerns that may arise during therapy.
- Adhering to all policies and procedures of the company, department, child care centers, HIPAA, and licensure state requirements.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OTR)
- Licensed in Missouri for the Child Development Centers or Kansas for the Kansas clinic location.
- At least one year of experience in an Occupational Therapy pediatric setting preferred, however, you will receive training and have helpful mentors.
