As a Closing Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our shop runs smoothly during closing hours. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising evening operations and ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
- Handling cash accurately and completing end-of-day procedures.
- Following and enforcing food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Assisting team members with tasks and providing guidance as needed.
- Operating and maintaining coffee and kitchen equipment safely.
- Preparing the shop for the next day by restocking, cleaning, and organizing.
- Communicating clearly with customers, team members, and management to ensure a seamless experience.
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions.
- Comfortable working around hot equipment, steam, cleaning products, and commercial kitchen/coffee equipment.
- Reliable transportation to and from scheduled shifts.
- Consistent availability for evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Dependable and punctual with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and safely during closing hours.
- A commitment to following all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
