Job description
Packaging/Brewery helper
· Work the packaging line, clean up and set up for next day
· Keep accurate records of packaging, kegging and/or transfers
· Wash and fill kegs according to schedule
· Build orders for out of state shipments
· Take accurate daily inventory
· CIP and inspection of tanks, hoses and fittings
· Preparing dry hops for beers and dry hop upon brewers’ approval
· Cleaning and organizing all areas in and outside of the brewery, warehouse and coolers.
· Follow SOP’s and keep accurate records
· General facility and equipment maintenance
· Coordinated with head brewer in regards to prioritizing schedule
· Operate forklift safely (training provided)
Mandatory Qualifications
· A love for/and be passionate about craft beer
· Basic math skills
· Attention to detail, positive attitude
· Self-motivated, well organized, self-starter with the desire to excel in instances of limited direction
· Able to work safely with chemicals
· Excellent interpersonal communications, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
· Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, knowing order of importance and difficulty
· Dedicated sense of urgency and drive to complete tasks
· Ability to lift 55 lbs shoulder high, and maneuver 165 lbs
· Ability to climb ladders and stairs (a lot), as well as be on your feet for an entire shift
· Strong attention to detail
· Desire to work hard and get things done
· Work both shifts AM and/or PM
