Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Clerk to join our logistics and distribution team. This role involves managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, and supporting efficient shipping and receiving processes. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining smooth warehouse workflows, utilizing various management systems, and providing excellent service to internal teams and external partners. Duties
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments using RF scanners and warehouse management software
- Prepare orders for shipment through picking, packing, and labeling using order picker equipment and pallet jacks
- Load and unload trucks efficiently with forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management systems and ERP platforms such as AS400 or MRP systems
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy
- Assist with shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers and ensuring compliance with trade regulations
- Support order fulfillment by processing customer orders accurately via data entry into inventory management software
- Ensure proper packaging of products for safe delivery, adhering to quality standards and trade compliance
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the warehouse environment
- Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or related roles
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for stock counting and order processing
- Valid forklift certification with experience operating reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, including international trade regulations and trade compliance standards
- Strong data entry skills coupled with excellent attention to detail to ensure precise recordkeeping
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members, carriers, and customers in a professional manner
