This position is critical to the effective management of Accounts Payable, which aims to pay vendors and small businesses in a timely manner. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, paying over 63,000 invoices a year, the highest departmental volume in Miami-Dade County. The payments are related to multiple functions, including Countywide Projects, Capital Projects such as Metrocenter Development, Fleet Management, Facilities Management, Countywide Printing and Graphic Services, Employee benefits payments to vendors, office supplies payments, General Liability and property insurance payments, and County Human Resources Functions.

Miami-Dade County (MDC) is the largest county in Florida with approximately 2.7 million residents, renowned for its vibrant culture and economic dynamism.
