Job Summary
Pumpers: An Adult Burger Store, a Stefan Bowers restaurant, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong background in kitchen operations, food preparation, and handling. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, whether in a restaurant setting or catering events. The Cook will be responsible for creating delicious dishes that meet our standards of excellence while ensuring a clean and organized kitchen.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality presentation and service.
- Provide support to kitchen staff by helping with food preparation tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within the food service or restaurant industry.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience in fine dining or catering is a plus but not required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
