About Us
TC Metal Roofing LLC and Metal Roof Source are growing companies serving Florida's roofing and construction industry. We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Office Manager with a strong background in construction accounting to oversee the daily financial and administrative operations of our companies.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for managing accounting functions, job costing, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and office administration. The ideal candidate must have prior construction accounting experience and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Management
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process customer invoicing and collections
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger activity
- Process and coordinate payroll
- Track and analyze job costs and project profitability
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports
- Coordinate with outside CPA for tax and year-end reporting
- Manage vendor accounts and payment schedules
- Assist with sales tax reporting and compliance
Construction Administration
- Manage lien waivers and releases
- Maintain certificates of insurance
- Support project closeout documentation
- Assist with contract and subcontract administration
- Track project-related financial documentation
- Maintain organized job files and records
- AIA Contracts
Office Management
- Oversee daily office operations
- Support ownership with administrative and financial reporting
- Maintain employee records and office systems
- Coordinate office vendors and administrative functions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of construction accounting experience
- Experience working for a roofing, general contracting, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or similar construction company
- Strong understanding of job costing and project profitability tracking
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the roofing industry
- Experience with multiple related companies or entities
- Knowledge of lien law documentation, notices, and releases
- Experience supporting both accounting and office management functions

Important
Construction accounting experience is required. Applicants without prior construction industry accounting experience will not be considered.
Pay: $59,313.46 - $79,388.26 per year
