This position is responsible for generating sales leads and setting appointments with retail customers to conduct store-sponsored HVAC, Plumbing, Water Heater and Home Generator sales, maintenance and repairs. Role: Sales Lead Generator
Location: Home Depot stores – Jefferson County, Kentucky
Schedule: Part-time or full-time (days and/or evenings, weekend day required)
Total Compensation:
- Pay: $16–$17 hourly + large portfolio of commissions based on performance (sales or lead appointments set)
- Gas Allowance: Allotted for any travel beyond candidate’s geographical area; tolls paid if applicable
- Retention Bonus: Paid out in chunks starting at 60 days through 18 months of employment, totaling $2,500 (full-time only)
Required Credentials:
- 6 or more months of consultative sales experience
- Driver’s license, reliable transportation and smart phone
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- A sales-driven, goal-oriented, self-motivated personality and a positive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
- Ability to walk the floor during working hours to increase customer interaction
- Ability to engage with customers within an in-store setting
Preferred Credentials:
- 1 or more years of consultative sales experience
- Proficient knowledge of HVAC systems or components
