Job Title: Chiropractic Assistant (Therapy Coordinator)
FLSA Status: Part-Time or Full-Time / Non-Exempt
Reports to: Practice Manager
Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly

Pain relief, pain management, and complete pain disappearance are the core of our treatment goals.
Position Description:
We are looking for a highly organized, neatly presented Therapy Coordinator who will conduct back office duties. The position assists the Chiropractor with clinical work such as administering therapies to patients and explaining treatment flow. The employee should be flexible and willing to cover shifts at other locations as needed.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms
- Educate patients about treatment flow
- Administer therapies such as EMS, Ultrasound, IST, and Spinal Decompression Therapy (DTS)
- Explain the purpose of treatments
- Demonstrate prescribed exercise and explain purpose of exercises
- Determine patients’ understanding of treatment intensity, explain how to gauge tolerance
- Explain and administer Cryo-therapy and Hydrocollator therapy
- Monitor multiple patients for safety during treatment and make changes as necessary
- Maintain office cleanliness following end-of-day checklist
- Track and order inventory
- Assist with simple front desk duties such as scanning patient paperwork
Education, Abilities, and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Well-groomed, professional appearance
- Good bedside manners
- A team player
- Friendly, caring, and compassionate attitude
Preferred but Optional Qualities:
- Chiropractic or other health field experience
- Bilingual Spanish
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, typing, and other computer skills
Work Hours: Approximately 30
- Monday - 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
- Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri - 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm
