Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor beverage levels to ensure availability during service hours
- Develop new cocktail recipes and beverage offerings to keep the menu fresh and exciting
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food service during events or busy periods, including banquet or catering services
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs, monitoring guest consumption, and preventing over-serving
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and beverage recipe development
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Previous experience in fine dining establishments or upscale hospitality environments preferred
- Familiarity with food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating adaptability during high-volume periods such as banquets or special events
