We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Night Supervisor in Kapolei for the following job duties:
- Supervise the activities of workers engaged in replenishment, order selection, loading and processing orders nightly, ensuring all work is done in a safe and efficient manner.
- Works with employees to document standard operating procedures for Night Operations.
- Become proficient in using WMS applications.
- Train and motivate employees to meet their nightly production goals.
- Practice MBWA and embrace the philosophy of Continuous Improvement.
- Monitor any daily discrepancy reports for items/issues that require attention.
- Manage in a way that promotes continual improvement in the warehouse’s process and procedures to enhance customer satisfaction, employee morale, and company profits.
- Primary emphasis is placed on replenishment, selecting, and loading outbound shipments timely, to ensure shipments depart as planned.
- Monitor the accuracy of all work daily and adjust as necessary.
- Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment. Prepares work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
You would be great for this role if you have these qualifications:
- Two - Four years of Supervisory Responsibilities -
- interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; counseling employees, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Direct reports include Night Order Selectors; Loaders; Forklift Operators; Yard Drivers
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- One or more years of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in the food industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
