We are a fast-paced, one veterinarian hospital seeking veterinary assistants and receptionists who have previous veterinary experience.
Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Assisting veterinarians in patients care and medical treatments by placing catheters, drawing and running bloodwork, taking x-rays, giving injections, administering medications, filling prescriptions.
- Client education including presenting estimates, explaining medications, explaining importance of diagnostics and preventative care.
- Cleaning and maintaining hospital for daily use to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
- Answering phone calls, emails, and in person questions.
- Computer skills, Knowledge of AVImark, fax, alphabetical filing.
- Available for late hour emergencies.
- Must be willing, hard working, detail orientated and a team player.
Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Experience:
- Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
