We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
- Maintain guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Uphold health and safety regulations while serving food and beverages.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills accurately.
- Excellent guest relations skills, demonstrating a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of fine dining standards is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
