MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or technical school education
- Previous experience in product inspection, quality inspection, or quality control
- Experience using inspection and measurement tools including microscopes, calipers, and optical comparators/projectors
- Familiarity with visual and dimensional inspection requirements
- Basic understanding of quality principles, defect identification, and problem-solving
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic computer systems
- Experience inspecting plastic components or manufactured parts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience within a plastic injection molding environment
- Experience with medical devices, medical consumables, or other regulated manufacturing
- Working knowledge of ISO 13485 quality system requirements
- Basic Mandarin speaking, reading, or writing ability
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform incoming material verification and sampling inspections
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) on injection-molded components
- Perform in-process quality inspections including:
- Visual inspection
- Dimensional measurement
- Functional testing
- Identify, document, and trace nonconforming products throughout production
- Perform final inspections of finished products, packaging, and labeling prior to warehouse release
- Maintain and update Standard Inspection Procedures (SIPs) as required
- Support calibration and tracking of inspection, testing, and measurement equipment
- Document inspection results and communicate quality concerns to production and quality personnel
- Ensure products meet established specifications, drawings, and quality standards
