Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate medical interventions based on scope of practice.
Administer ALS and BLS procedures including cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, airway management, medication administration, and CPR.
Provide compassionate, respectful care to all patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity.
Monitor and document vital signs, treatments provided, and patient responses.
Collaborate with EMTs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during transport to ensure continuity of care.
Safely operate ambulances and maintain awareness of road and patient safety at all times.
Maintain inventory of medications, equipment, and supplies; restock and clean units after calls.
Complete accurate and timely patient care reports (PCRs) and communicate patient status to receiving facilities.
Adhere to all Medtrans policies, EMS protocols, HIPAA guidelines, and local, state, and federal regulations.
Participate in ongoing training, safety drills, and quality assurance initiatives.
