Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Pump Mechanic for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Hampton, VA.

Pay
- $25.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience
- Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term career potential
Schedule
- Primarily Day Shift
- Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and rebuild large industrial pumps
- Disassemble and reassemble pump components using hand and power tools
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting and identify equipment issues
- Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous experience repairing industrial pumps is preferred
- Mechanical repair, maintenance, or industrial equipment experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn and be trained
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment as required
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Must be able to pass a background check
