Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Part-time Chinese Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Chinese language instruction tailored to students’ learning styles and developmental levels
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with educational standards and school goals
- Develop engaging, level-appropriate lesson plans and assessments
- Introduce students to Chinese culture and traditions
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, progress, and behavioral updates
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional modifications, and assessment strategies
- Participate in relevant faculty meetings and school activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in classroom teaching, preferably with elementary school students or in private school settings
- Strong knowledge of Mandarin Chinese language instruction, literacy education, and cultural context
- Excellent communication skills, classroom management abilities, and lesson planning expertise
- Background in childhood development, behavior management, and instructional modifications
- Native or near-native Mandarin fluency
