Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive interior design concepts that align with client goals, space requirements, and budget constraints.
- Create detailed drawings and visualizations using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Prepare accurate drafting and construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project managers to ensure seamless execution of renovation and remodeling projects.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, lighting solutions, and color schemes based on color theory principles and current design trends.
- Manage project timelines and budgets efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the design process.
- Conduct site visits to oversee construction progress, ensure adherence to design intent, and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
Skills
- Proficiency in at minimum one of the following, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite for drafting and visualization.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles including space planning, lighting design, color theory, and material selection.
- Experience construction documentation, contracts management, and remodeling processes.
- Knowledge of lighting sales strategies and lighting design techniques to enhance ambiance and functionality.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through effective project management skills.
- Familiarity with budgeting practices and cost estimation for interior renovation projects.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, contractors, and team members throughout all project phases. Pay: $30,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
