V. Sattui Winery is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-oriented Weekend Phone Reception & Reservations Specialist to support our guests and members on Saturdays, Sundays, and holiday Mondays (approximately 16+ hours per week).
This part-time role reports to the Administrative Supervisor and VP of Marketing and plays a vital part in delivering exceptional guest experiences, often serving as a guest’s very first interaction with our winery. This role is expected to expand to include additional hours during peak seasons, including some weekday coverage as needed.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the voice of V. Sattui, helping guests plan visits, answering questions, and ensuring every interaction feels welcoming and informed.
- Represent the V. Sattui brand with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm
- Provide outstanding customer service with a genuine focus on guest satisfaction
- Answer a wide range of inquiries, including:
- Wine tastings and reservations
- Winery visitation policies and hours
- Picnicking, tours, and on-site experiences
- Events and seasonal offerings
- Select wine orders
- Wine club membership status and benefits
- Field and manage incoming calls, voicemail, and overnight message boxes
- Communicate and route messages to internal teams and Concierge via phone, text, and email
- Monitor and respond to shared inboxes: [email protected] and [email protected]
- Complete light administrative and data entry work during slower call periods
- Respond to online guest inquiries via chat
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
- Organized, reliable, and calm under pressure
- Computer literate and comfortable using multiple systems, including:
- Microsoft Office (especially Outlook)
- Online reservation platforms (CellarPass)
- CRM systems (eCellar)
- Online chat applications (Tawk, RedChirp)
- Prior hospitality, winery, or customer service experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Napa Valley and the wine industry is a plus, but not required
