Optimae LifeServices in Waterloo/Cedar Falls area is looking for Full-time Direct Support Professional Staff working 1:1 in the community and our customer’s homes. This position does not require weekend shifts. The ideal candidate needs to be highly motivated to work alongside people with disabilities.

Duties:
- Utilize our customer’s individualized service plans to teach daily living skills.
- Support our customer's in their living, social and learning environments.
- Support our customers to achieve the personal goals of their choice.
- Assist customers with managing and following through with appointments.
- Complete individual service documentation following Optimae’s policy and procedure.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings and personalized monthly coaching.
- Follow a customer specific behavioral plan.
- Communicate with team members.
- We are looking for self-directed individuals with characteristics of compassion, respect, and problem solving skills. Flexible scheduling and no experience necessary, we will train.
Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Licensed driver with a dependable vehicle and automobile insurance
- Background check required which includes Child and Dependent Adult Abuse and driving record check
