As a valued member of the educational team, you’ll collaborate closely with supervising occupational therapists and other school professionals to empower students in achieving their educational and developmental goals. With district-provided supervision and a variety of caseloads, you’ll have the guidance and support needed to thrive in your role while making a significant impact on the lives of students.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Current, active COTA license required
- Schools-based experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively itinerantly across approximately three campus sites
- IVP Fingerprint Card required for employment
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting children with a range of needs (mild to severe)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an OT
- Travel between assigned school sites to ensure seamless support
- Collaborate with educational staff, families, and related service providers
- Assist with assessments, individualized education program (IEP) implementation, and routine progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate records and participate in relevant meetings and trainings
