Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting flowers and plants to meet their needs and preferences
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to enhance store visual appeal
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, sales transactions, and customer payments
- Manage inventory levels by organizing stock, conducting stock checks, and replenishing shelves efficiently
- Support e-commerce initiatives by processing online orders and coordinating in-store pickup or delivery options
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone or in person to answer questions and promote products or services
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in floral shops, garden centers, or outdoor work environments
- Knowledge of horticulture, plant identification, floral design, and landscape maintenance highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math to ensure accurate transactions
- Strong communication skills in English.
- A keen eye for organization and merchandising excellence
- Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly while providing outstanding customer service
