American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a 13-week urgent care assignment requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of experience performing routine X-Ray procedures.

Urgent care setting performing routine X-Ray procedures

Position floats between two urgent care locations (Darlington and Florence)

Hours of operation are Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM and Saturday–Sunday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

12-hour day shifts (08:00–20:00)

No call required

Minimum of 1 year of radiology/X-Ray experience

Completion of a 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiology program

ARRT or NMTCB certification required
-
BLS certification required (AHA only)

SCRQSA certification required
-
License required if applicable

Perform routine X-Ray procedures in an urgent care environment

Responsible for verifying patient identity using two identifiers prior to procedures

Must confirm correct exam orders and document any order clarifications appropriately

Ensures all images are successfully transmitted to PACS and are of diagnostic quality before forwarding for radiologist interpretation

Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of imaging equipment and maintain proper patient positioning throughout procedures

Upon completion of orientation, must be able to independently perform all assigned radiological exams per facility protocols
