We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant/Housekeeping Inspector to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and chemical agents while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines.
- Handle various cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely, including proper storage and disposal procedures.
- Conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards, safety protocols, and hotel policies.
- Identify maintenance issues or safety hazards during inspections and report them promptly to management for resolution.
- Assist with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies to facilitate efficient cleaning operations.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, inspection reports, and safety compliance documentation.
- Support hotel emergency procedures by being familiar with evacuation routes, safety protocols, and first aid procedures when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial/industrial cleaning roles with a strong understanding of hospitality standards.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and custodial practices suitable for high-traffic hotel environments.
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely by following SDS instructions and using appropriate protective equipment.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest and staff safety at all times.
- Excellent attention to detail for conducting thorough inspections and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and report issues clearly.
