Job Title: HR Generalist / HR Administrator
Position Summary
The HR Generalist / HR Administrator supports day-to-day HR operations and plays a key role in maintaining a positive employee experience. This role handles a wide range of HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR systems management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data

Process new hires, terminations, and employee status changes

Support payroll coordination and ensure timely submission of data

Prepare HR reports and maintain documentation in compliance with regulations
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling

Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new employees

Partner with hiring managers to support staffing needs
Employee Relations
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries

Assist in resolving workplace issues and escalating when necessary

Support performance management processes and documentation
Benefits & Compliance
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist with open enrollment

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

Maintain I-9, EEO, and other compliance records
Training & Development
- Coordinate training sessions and track employee participation

Support internal communications and engagement initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

2–5 years of HR experience (generalist or administrative)

Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

Strong organizational and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing or technology environment

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)

Familiarity with payroll systems and compliance reporting
