Dalton & Associates is a licensed Driving-Under-the Influence (DUI) program for the state of California and approved by the county of San Bernardino. We are committed to serving our clients with professionalism and care. We have a great team and looking for a team player.
We are seeking a certified and/or registered Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Applicants must be currently certified or registered through a State of California recognized certification entity.
The counselor provides drug and alcohol education and counseling to clients via Zoom virtual meetings and in person.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Conduct orientation, intakes and assessments.
- Facilitate group counseling and individual counseling sessions.
- Conduct educational sessions.
- Case management.
- Maintain an assigned caseload.
- Document, review, and chart client progress; complete all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications:
Must meet one of the following:
- Certification through a recognized alcohol and drug certification entity. or
- Registration through a recognized alcohol an drug certification entity and working towards a certification.
- Addiction Counseling: 2 years (Required)
- Fluent in both English and Spanish is preferred.
- Available to work days/evenings Mon-Fri and Saturday mornings.
