Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant tothe Business Director to join our growing Surgery Center. This position provides direct administrative and operational support to the Business Director while assisting with accounting,financial, and business operations.
In addition to supporting the Business Director, the successful candidate will participate incross-training across multiple administrative departments, preparing them to serve as a versatile operational resource.
Essential Responsibilities
Business Director Support
● Provide administrative support to the Business Director on day-to-day operational and
financial activities.
● Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, expense tracking, and account reconciliation.
● Prepare financial spreadsheets, reports, and presentations.
● Maintain organized financial and business records while ensuring confidentiality.
● Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, and vendor
communications.
● Assist with special projects, strategic initiatives, and operational improvement efforts.
Cross-Training and Operational Support
The Administrative Assistant will become proficient in all major administrative functions of the Ambulatory Surgery Center, including:
● Front desk operations and patient reception
● Patient registration and insurance verification
● Surgical procedure scheduling
● Coordination with Physicians' offices
● Communication with Physicians’ office schedulers and clinical staff
● Prior authorization workflow support
● Medical records coordination
● Operational workflow improvement initiatives Physician Office Outreach
● Support the Business Director and the health administrator’s physician outreach
initiatives. Administrative Responsibilities:
● Answer and direct telephone calls professionally.
● Draft correspondence, reports, and business communications.
● Organize files, maintain records, and ensure document accuracy.
● Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
● Associate or bachelor’s degree
● Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience
● Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
● Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
● Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills. Preferred
● Experience with accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administrative duties.

Pay: $51,500.00 - $61,500.00 per year
