Duties
- Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble sandwiches according to company standards and customer preferences
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and give accurate change
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicing machines, ovens, and refrigeration units
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, taking special requests, and ensuring satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and food handling within quick service or fast food environments
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills for serving customers and collaborating with team members
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food industry procedures
- Ability to perform basic math quickly for cash handling and order calculations
- Previous restaurant or café experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
