Our Houston Heights clinic provides rehabilitation for orthopedic and sports-related injuries, postoperative conditions, joint replacements, work-related injuries, and active adults seeking to return to work, recreation, and everyday life. We also offer aquatic therapy using an above-ground underwater treadmill and telehealth physical therapy.

What You Can Expect
- Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- No weekend shifts
- Approximately 12–15 patient visits per day
- Patients scheduled on the hour
- Support from physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation technicians
- A diverse outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine caseload

Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide evidence-based treatment for orthopedic, postoperative, sports-related, and work-related conditions
- Prescribe and progress therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, and functional activities
- Educate patients on recovery, injury prevention, and independent management
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Provide appropriate discharge planning and home-program education
- Collaborate with PTAs, rehabilitation technicians, referring providers, and other healthcare professionals
- Help create an environment where every patient feels respected, valued, and heard
Qualifications
- Current Texas physical therapist license or eligibility for a temporary Texas license
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient-education skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Interest in outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation
- Outpatient experience through employment or clinical rotations is preferred but not required
- Spanish-language skills are helpful but not required

Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary of $80,000–$95,000, based on experience and qualifications
