American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring at least 18 months of permanent specialty experience and an Ohio or compact RN license.

Large academic hospital Med/Surg Tele unit
-
Potential to float to other units (J1-2, J33) and the ED to care for the same patient population
-
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
3x12-hour shifts per week
-
13-week contract
-
Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Med/Surg Tele prior to any travel assignments

Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required (travel experience acceptable)

A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are administered during orientation; passing scores on both are required

Must be available to work at least every other holiday

Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across all assignments at this health system's locations, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before returning to any of this health system's locations after an assignment ends
