Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Working Lead to oversee and coordinate construction projects with precision and enthusiasm. Duties
- Lead Working Carpenter on construction crews in wood framing, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, and remodeling projects
- Positive Attitude and Ethical Values are a MUST
- Commercial projects will require traveling throughout state of Maryland
- Some project may require overnight stays
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure precise implementation of project specifications
- Coordinate heavy equipment operation, rebar installation, framing, drywall finishing, plastering, and trim carpentry activities
- Manage daily site operations including safety protocols, material logistics, and adherence to project timelines
- Conduct dimensional measurements using tape measures and other hand tools to ensure accuracy in framing and structural components
- Oversee the use of power tools and hand tools for various tasks such as carpentry, metal stud framing, and restoration work
- Collaborate with project managers to interpret schematics and technical drawings for efficient project execution while maintaining high-quality standards
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and construction codes while fostering a safe work environment for all team members
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed to support construction activities while maintaining proper safety procedures
Skills
- Extensive experience in framing, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, and remodeling projects
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawing analysis
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and dimensional measurements for precise craftsmanship
- Skilled in construction management practices including resource coordination and team leadership
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Expertise in rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, plastering, stucco application, and framing methods
- Solid understanding of carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry and woodworking techniques
- Familiarity with construction plans related to metal stud framing and restoration projects
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations on-site
- Experience interpreting technical drawings to guide project workflows accurately
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and interpreting technical schematics effectively

Pay: $26.00 - $42.00 per hour
