SUMMARY
The Facilities Technician performs a variety of duties to ensure the smooth operation of the facility. They may include general maintenance, supply tracking and client transport.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains clean, safe and orderly work areas

Monitors visitation of Clients with family

Coordinates, performs, or assists in repairs involving basic electrical, mechanical and plumbing
-
Utilizes software system to track and complete work orders
-
Understands how all facility equipment functions to ensure safety compliance
-
Assures all lighting fixtures are operable with the necessary bulbs in place
-
Coordinates with Facilities Manager to prepare properties for inspection and deadlines
-
Performs various support duties to include but not limited to
-
Assisting with employee office moves
-
Greeting contractor/vendors
-
Ensuring satisfactory completion of contractor/vendor work
-
Travels to other Red Rock sites as needed
-
Transports items via the internal courier program
-
Performs routing safety inspections and maintenance checks of agency vehicles
-
Coordinates van schedules with staff members as required
-
Transports clients to and from Red Rock as required
-
Maintains mileage logs and maintenance logs
-
Monitors and restocks facility supplies as necessary
-
Troubleshoots and performs general maintenance practices in a safe manner
-
Performs other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

One year of general maintenance experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
-
Must have the ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 70 pounds
-
Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time

Ability to use telephone, PC, fax machine, copy machine, and printer
